Frequently Asked Questions

What kind of paper are the prints made on?

All prints are produced on archival-quality photographic papers using professional printing processes designed for longevity and accurate tonal reproduction.

Black & white images are printed on a paper selected specifically to enhance contrast, depth, and tonal smoothness, resulting in rich blacks and pleasing midtones. Color prints are produced on a professional photographic surface chosen for clarity, color accuracy, and durability.

How long does it take to print and ship an order?

All prints are produced and shipped through a professional photo lab.

Most orders are printed or scheduled for printing within 24 hours, excluding weekends and holidays. Once printed, orders are typically shipped via UPS with a 1–3 business day delivery window, depending on your location.

Larger print sizes or custom orders may require additional production time due to print configuration or handling requirements.

Why are your prices lower than many other photographers?

I work directly with a professional photo lab to handle printing and fulfillment rather than printing in-house. This approach allows me to focus on creating the work itself while avoiding the overhead associated with printers, inks, maintenance, and equipment replacement.

Pricing reflects the value of the artwork and the production process without unnecessary markup. I believe fine art should be accessible while still being produced to professional standards.

Are the listed print sizes the only sizes available?

The sizes listed for each image are carefully selected based on the image’s aspect ratio and visual balance. In some cases, additional sizes may be available by request.

If you are interested in a size not listed, feel free to reach out using the contact page to discuss custom options.

Do you offer custom print requests?

Yes, select images may be available as custom orders depending on size, aspect ratio, and presentation options. Custom requests can be submitted through the contact page. However, there will be a markup in price due to it not being a normal sized print.

Do the prints include a frame?

Prints are delivered unframed. If you would like a frame, please reach out to me via the contact form. It should be noted frames are very costly and you might be better finding one at your local store.

What does the optional print finish do?

Optional finishes such as luster or linen subtly affect the surface texture and how light interacts with the print. These finishes are entirely optional and are intended to enhance presentation without altering the image itself.

Will the print look exactly like it does on my screen?

Every effort is made to ensure accurate color and tonal reproduction; however, slight variations may occur due to differences in monitor calibration and viewing conditions. Prints are produced using professional color-managed workflows for consistency and quality.

How should I display or care for my print?

For best longevity, prints should be displayed away from direct sunlight, excessive humidity, and extreme temperature changes. Framed prints should be mounted using proper hanging hardware appropriate for their size and weight.

Do you accept returns or exchanges?

Because each print is produced to order, returns are generally not accepted. If your print arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact me promptly so the issue can be resolved with the photo lab.

Are these limited edition prints?

At this time, the majority of prints are offered as open editions unless otherwise noted. If there is a print that is in an limited edition run, that will be noted in the description of the photo.
